Prof. Jules Dégila (Ph.D.) is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Abomey-Calavi, Benin. His research interest includes Networks and systems, the Internet of things, Blockchain and inclusive ICT. He has led the Operations Research and Computer Science department at the Institute of Mathematics and Physics (IMSP). During the last fifteen years, he has also held different management, executive, and board member positions for Western and African telecommunications companies. Guest speakers at various technologies vulgarization events, he has also advised many companies and governments as a strategist in ICT for development. Jules received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal, Canada, in 2004.
