Dr. Moses Osiru is the manager for the Regional Coordination Unit (RCU) of the Regional Scholarship and Innovation Fund (RSIF) and Oversees the AGriDi project. He holds a PhD in Agriculture (Plant Pathology) and a MSc (Plant Breeding/Pathology) from Makerere University. He has published widely and has over 50 scientific publications. Dr. Moses Osiru brings has over 20 years’ professional experience in the agricultural science, technology and higher educational sectors, eleven of which were in management positions. He has worked with the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), the World Bank, Governments, international agencies, non-governmental organisations and the African Union Commission. He also taught Plant Pathology courses at Makerere University.
